Last month we decided to review Sock Fancy, a sock of the month club based in Atlanta. Sock Fancy looks like they have been very busy over the past year! They have a beautiful website with a whole video (which is very cool) on the home page and it looks like they recently opened up their flag-ship store in Atlanta. It seems that only Sock Fancy and Sock Panda are the sock of the month clubs that have brick and mortar stores. Without further adieu lets discuss our Sock Fancy review.
Sock Fancy seems to make all their own socks but they also sell other brands like Richer and Poorer in their Atlanta store. Their socks are a good quality and they are a fun brand. Their adult sock subscriptions start at $9 per month plus shipping for 1 pair of socks or $17 plus shipping for 2 pairs of fun socks each month. In general we would give Sock Fancy a favorable review. Their socks are of a high quality, fun designs and their packaging is on point.
On their website they offer mens sock subscriptions, women's sock subscriptions and a kids sock of the month club. We like that they offer all three options. They even have an option to choose a couples sock subscriptions - each month both the man and women get a fun sock.
One of the reasons we gave a favorable grade on our Sock Fancy review is that they are very active on all social media channels. Their instagram account is posted to several times a day which shows that they care about their customers and are trying hard to grow. It looks like they are actually trying to raise more money on their website to grow the business in time for the holiday season. The company was started by Stefan Lewinger and Futhum Tewolde in the spring of 2013 in Atlanta. Both Stefan and Futhum were big sock fanatics. Futhum describes his brain-child by saying that “Sock Fancy delivers fantastically random socks to doorsteps across the country every month.”
