We're so excited to open up our April sock subscription for men from sock of the month club, Sock Club.
Sock Club's packaging is a simple brown cardboard envelope with black drawings all over.
The back of the package has an easy to open pull across tab as well as quite a bit of text. This text shares information about Sock Club as well as it's manufacturing materials.
Inside of the package is a white piece of paper with information about the April socks and their design process/inspiration. April's sock theme is focused on the lessons of Fred Rogers.
All of Sock Club's socks are internally wrapped in brown butcher paper with a red wax seal.
Since we don't like to rip the packaging, we always shake the socks out from the bottom of the butcher paper.
This month's socks are simply known as The Rogers. This is because "Mr. Rogers taught us not to overcomplicate life's simple truths, that we are liked just the way we are, and that we are all part of a larger community."
The Rogers sock has a navy blue base with bright yellow accents—top trim, toe, and heel.
The design on top of the base is a geometric neighborhood going from the toe of the sock up to the top trim. The neighborhood is made up of different houses and buildings in white, yellow, light blue, green, and black. At the very top of the sock, just below the top trim are some white clouds in the sky.
Unlike some of Sock Club's other sock designs, The Rogers does not have a design that continues onto the sole. According to Sock Club, The Rogers are best worn with "your favorite zip-up cardigan to complete the look."
